How do I prepare Cast Aluminum Cookware?
Prior to the first use of your new cast aluminum cookware, wash it in warm, soapy water with ¼ cup of vinegar. Any remaining traces of manufacturing oils will be removed in this process. Then, rinse fully and towel dry.
Condition your cast aluminum cookware before your first use with 1 tsp (5 ml) of vegetable oil. Using a soft cloth, wipe the oil gently around the interior.
